Imagine a place where families from around the world gather, united by a common mission—to share the Gospel with those who have never heard it. That’s exactly what happens at Greater Lisbon Christian Academy (GLCA) and the Lisbon Training Center (LTC). These ministries equip missionary families, train Christian leaders, and provide spaces where the Gospel is shared and lives are changed.
While Portugal has a rich religious history, today, less than 3% of the population has a personal relationship with Jesus. Many people have never heard the true Gospel, making it a strategic place for missions and ministry.
GLCA provides Christ-centered education for missionary kids, enabling their families to stay on the field with confidence that their children receive quality academics and spiritual care. Gayle and I support the school’s leaders by handling operations and logistics, freeing them to focus on ministering to kids and families. From managing daily needs to offering administrative support and guidance, we help create an environment where students and staff thrive in their mission.
LTC supports local churches and non-profits by providing space for retreats, special events, and housing for ministry teams. Gayle and I help facilitate these efforts by preparing the campus, scheduling and assisting cleaning crews, and coordinating maintenance projects. Last year, over 30 local children chose to follow Jesus through LTC’s ministry, and we continue to witness God moving powerfully in this place.
